 FCYFA overview of park Alignment
by Steve Gonzalez posted 01/15/2010

As many of you have seen in the 2009 Football season we aligned our Youth Parks uniforms and Mascots with the nearest High School possible to that park in order to create more community support for the majority of the kids playing at a youth park, and then eventually attending the High School closest to that park.
Our goal is to make sure all kids that want to play youth football have that opportunity. While our county continues to grow, more schools being built, more parks being built we must anticipate growth for each Recreational Park. Creating a safe environment with the best facilities possible is a very big part of what we do. Every park has a safe number in terms of the number of teams that can participate due to the number of lighted fields. Understanding this, part of the alignment will be to suggest as many individuals participate out of the park closest to their home and/or where their child will attend high school. This is not mandatory and no additional fees will be charged if you decide not to play in your school district's home park. That being said, we ask that each community support this exciting time for youth football in Forsyth County and help us achieve the goal of building community and school spirit for the upcoming 2010 football season.

 What's New For 2010
by Steve Gonzalez posted 01/04/2010

     Happy New Year

With the new year comes a new era in Bulldog football. For those of you that have been with the program at Sawnee Mountain, welcome to your new home at Central Park. For those of you that will be joining us as first time football players, or if you are coming to us from another program, we look forward to welcoming you to the Bulldog family. I realize that we just ended the 2009 season not too long ago, but it is never to early to start thinking about the upcoming season. Since we are moving from one park to another there will be a lot to accomplish before we start registration in April. Over the next few months I will keep you informed about upcoming events, news regarding our park and the league, and anything else you need to know to stay properly informed. So please keep this website in mind for all your Bulldog information in the months to come.

Now that the new year is here, I have a few things to report for the upcoming year. Our new home is now the lower field at Central Park to the north of baseball fields 8 & 9. Our new field is getting a new look for 2010 including a new 30' x 15' two story press box/fieldhouse, new goal posts, new black vinyle fence, bleachers, scoreboard, ect. Construction on the project should begin in mid to late February. We will also be wearing new uniforms and equipment for the upcoming season, stay tuned for pictures of our new colors and helmets in the weeks to come.

The Central Park Football and Cheerleading Association Board is in place for the upcoming season and is already at work to make your football and cheerleading experience in 2010 a memorable and enjoyable one. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact any of us at the e-mail addresses on this site.

Thanks for your interest in Bulldog Football & Cheerleading,
